Broadcasters have until June 30, 2012 to become EAS CAP Fifth Report and OrderEAS CAP compliant. This upgrade from legacy EAS can be done with "intermediary" or "converter" devices. However, the FCC has just decided that "old" and "intermediary" devices must be replaced by June 30, 2015. http://ping.fm/kcwFU
